Kanye West Approached Nintendo to Collaborate, They "Politely Declined"
Kanye might have 'woke up an optimist', however, he didn't wake up a Nintendo collaborator.
Former Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime revealed earlier this year that Kanye West approached him at an E3 “many years ago” in hopes of collaborating with the company on making a game. First reported by Nintendo Everything, this information came from Fils-Aime’s podcast with gaming journalist Harold Goldberg, 
According to the episode, West came to the Nintendo booth at E3 and spent some time talking with Shigeru Miyamoto and requested to meet with Fils-Aime. The two met together along with West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, to talk about a potential collaboration.
