Giving a keynote speech in Central London on Monday, the Labour leader said the idea of having a second Scottish independence referendum in the middle of a pandemic would be "wrong". Asked whether he believed Scottish people should be given the decision to demand a second vote, Keir Starmer said: "The very idea that in the middle of this pandemic with the health consequences and the economic consequences that we should have a further independence referendum in a sense only needs to be said to be seen wrong.
