The amount of rain for the storm is just unbelievable. Just to try to put it into perspective, this storm has set a new record for rainfall from tropical system in the allowlow states. Nearly 52 inches of rain of cedar buy you which is southeast of houston. The previous record is 48 inches of rain back in 1978. The amount of rain from this storm in five days is equal to two to three years worth of rain in the bay area. San jose yearly average is under 15 inches of rain. San francisco and oakland have a yearly average of 24 inches. Ha harveys total, 51. 88 inches over five days. You can see where the storm is spinning off the eastern gulf coast of texas. Its expected to move inland up through louisiana and by thursday into parts of arkansas and northern North Western mississippi up into western tennessee and into southern ohio by friday afternoon.
