Were told shes expected to be released as early as this morning. Shes 86 years old. She has successfully battled Health Issues for years, from colon cancer in 1999, to getting pancreatic cancer ten years later. She had a stent put in, and she fractured three ribs a year ago. In december last year she underwent surgery for lung cancer. Then earlier this year had radiation for pancreatic cancer. For all that i can tell you Justice Ginsburg remains active on the court. I saw her at oral arguments at the Court Earlier this month. She was a sharp, even intimidating questioner during those arguments. Still very active on the court. And terry, this latest health scare, a lot of people watching this very closely. The repercussions could be significant if she has to step down. Reporter huge. President trump has had two nominees. Its a 54 majority on the Supreme Court for conservatives. Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell said he and his Senate Republican colleagues will confirm any nominee that comes to the court.
