A male ran out of the b. A. R. T train car on to tracks and thats when the shooting occurred. The man that was wounded is still alive. He was taken to the those by a helicopter. He does have lifethreatening injuries. Police say they did recover a gun at the scene. We heard from a witness who says she saw what unfolded. She said the victim was a young africanamerican man that was running from Police Officers through her b. A. R. T train. She did not want us to show her face. Next thing i know the Police Officer and the young man, they came running through the cargo. As they were running through the cargo, they exited out of the train cargo, and thats when i poked my held out a little bit to see what was going on. And about seven to eight shots went off. They just shot the boy. Reporter another witness told us a girl was with the young man who was shot, and that she kept screaming and crying what his age was. Apparently she kept saying, hes only 17, so other passengers were trying to console her. Now police say that young woman is being interviewed right now. A man is facing serious charges today after police say he attacked two women franciscos embarcadero, the scary incident happened early this morning. Cornell barnard joins us live with details on this. Cornell. Reporter yes, dionne, both women are recovering at a local hospital. Police say one of the attacks happened here between pier 19 and pier 17. They say the victims did not know the man who attacked them. Police say this man wearing a cap and overalls is charged with attacking two women saturday morning. Around 7 00 a woman running along the embarcadero was stabbed near pier 19. This tourist who spoke russian told us what she saw. [ speaking Foreign Language ]. Reporter she says, we saw the young woman on her knees. She had a knife in her upper back. She reenacted the attack for Police Officers and said the suspect was agitated and swearing. He took off on a bicycle. Ten minutes later the same man is suspected of attacking another woman near pier 39 with some sort of tool. She was helped into an ambulance with a bandage on her head. Police say the attacks were random. Both victims will survive. It doesnt surprise me because San Francisco is kind of getting that way. We have too many people out on the streets that are a little bit psychotic. Reporter william hall lives on the embarcadero. He is concerned about the violence and has taken steps to protect himself. I dont know what the solution is. I know it is an issue and i carry pepper spray all the reporter name of the suspect has not been released but we have just found out that he is facing two counts of attempted homicide, assault with a Deadly Weapon and resisting arrest. A body was found last night at Woodland Hills park and we first got word of a possible shooting at 7 30 last night. The victim is identified as a 21yearold man. His name has not been released. Investigators say the suspect shot the victim, ran to a compact car and drove away. New at 5 00, someone vandalized the historical park on 34th avenue in oakland. The park shared a few photos of the damage including a new adobe oven that was damaged. This has led to delaying a Community Feast it had plan. Graffiti was scrawled all over a rock.
