When we have protests, if they get large, there is always an element within that group that will try to do destruction or harm. Were worried about those extreme elements that want to do violence and harm people, especially Law Enforcement officers doing their job. Walmart took similar measures in june during protests over the deadly killing of george floyd. 2 Million People from the bay areas nine counties already cast their votes. Santa claras Election Office received 410 toush,000 ballots. If youre planning to mail your ballot is must be postmarked by november 3rd. The additional ballots this year could cause a delay in election results. In many states like california the counting has already begun. California is one of 34 states that will not count ballots until election day. So results may seem skewed until ballots are processed. Matt haney says he is concerned about President Trumps threats to not count latearriving ballots. Hes urging you to drop off your mailin ballots at official dropoff sites so they can go directly to the Election Offices. San francisco committed to counting ballots postmarked on or before election day even if they arrive late. But haney says why wait . Theres a lot of noise nationally right now. The president of the United States has said he doesnt think we should be counting ballots at all post election day. So just get your ballot in. If you can, turn it in. Helena have been ordered to ration water because of a major shortage. The city draws its water from bell canyon reservoir, but it is only at 38 capacity. Water from the reservoir was used to fight two major wildfires in the region. Residents are limited to 65 gallons of water per person per day. Businesses are facing similar limits. Pittsburg police are investigating a possible criminal incident where a man used racial slurs while another coughed in a black womans face. Its very disturbing to know that these men are still free. Thats just a small part of what happened to this woman and her daughter last friday at an east bay dog park. It started after the womans puppy was attacked by a dog belonging to a black family. The incident seemed to resolve itself. But then a man began saying vulgar racist slurs towards the other family. Thats when she started recording and the man turned his anger towards her. She says he claimed to be a federal agent and called 911. Thats when a second man jumped in and coughed in her face. We spoke with the man who called 911. Do you regret what you said . I regret it at the moment it came out of my mouth. I apologized for my behavior. Pittsburg police say theyre taking the case very seriously. Theyre eventually going to pass this investigation on to the District Attorney who could press charges. A person who lives in Solano County is believed to be the first person in the bay area who is sick with covid19 and the flu. Public Health Officials are only saying that the person is under the age of 65. They are urging everyone to get a flu shot as soon as possible to reduce the risk of coinfection. Your body will be battling two viruses, not just one. We worry for people with Underlying Health conditions who are otherwise fragile this combination can be very, very serious. It just so happens this person is also solanos county first confirmed flu case. Health officials there are already testing respiratory samples for covid19 and the flu. Okay. So there is a loophole hawaiis covid19 testing process. It allowed a passenger to fly while infected with the virus. The person flu united from chicago to honolulu possibly spreading it to other passengers. While all passengers are required to take a covid19 test before boarding the plane, they are not required to show a negative result. That is actually not true.
