We have a wind advisory in the coast and upper elevations. Its windy where we live as well. The wind gusts above a thousand feet could be in excess of 50

. These are surface winds right now, from 26 miles an hour in novato to about 39 miles an hour there at sfo. Even over into the east bay, common surface winds over 25 miles an hour. As we go up in height, were near 50 miles an hour on top of mt. Tam. You can see scattered clouds there in the south bay. Were in the 50s, a chilly day today. There is the beach. Winds could be in excess of 45 miles an hour there. And finally, some whitecaps on the bay there. So hold on to your hat. Its a brisk day. headline, biden beats trump. It was pennsylvania that put biden and harris over the threshold, surpassing the 270

votes needed. Nevada was called shortly after, giving biden 279 over

s 214. Biden also surpassed the record for the popular votes with more than 74 million cast. President trump has remained out of the public eye since yesterdays news. He made no public appearances but spent the day golfing in virginia. This is a new picture from this morning showing the president at the driving range before playing another round of golf. Yesterday he told supporters at his golf club that he was going to win. [ inaudible ] you can hear his supporters telling the president dont give up. The president is vowing to push ahead with a legal fight in a statement after biden became the president elect. President trump said the election is far from over. It seems that starting tomorrow his campaign will start prosecuting their case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner seated. . As we look at emeryville, weve got the sunshine, but it is not going to warm up. Were talking 50s and maybe 60s for some of us. It is 52 in santa rosa. A lot of blue sky here from the golden gate bridge. The winds along the coast in excess of 45 miles an hour, could even see 50 miles an hour. Upper elevations breezy and gusty. Looking at rain possibly returning by the end of the week. Were dry and windy today. Here is how it looks right now at sfo. Wind gusts to nearly 40 miles an hour. Look at livermore and hayward, 26, 28 miles an hour. And up in the north bay as well. Those colors indicate the very breezy winds. Theres the moisture, all offshore, right on through the afternoon. So here we go through the afternoon. Theyll get a little less intense. Then theyre going to pick up again as we get into the late afternoon. So its all day today into early monday. The winds will back off. But even so, were looking at cold, cold night tonight. We fast forwarded through a dry monday, a dry tuesday, a dry wednesday. Here comes thursday night. Perhaps a return to mountain snow and some rain for us. It will take us into hopefully friday.
