We begin with a plea from a bay area widow begging governor gavin newsom to keep her husbands killer in prison. 49yearold Timothy Wilson serving 26 years behind bars. He brutally beat a man killing him in 1993. The Software Engineer is remembered as a loving husband and involved father of seven children. This week, on wilsons third try at parole, the board decided that the 49yearold is no longer a danger to society. But the family is challenging that decision afraid of what might happen if wilson is released. We had a restraining order against him. He had assaults. In fact, that morning he had assaulted a waitress. If Governor Newsom doesnt step, in Timothy Wilson could be out on parole early next year. The longstanding feud between the city of santa clara and the 49ers continues. Now, the 49ers are suing the city. On tuesday, the Santa Clara City Council voted to end an agreement that allowed the 49ers to run nonnfl events like concerts at levi stadium. The city claims the 49ers have mismanaged the event and lost money of the 49ers argue santa clara is losing money because it is a restriction, like early curfews that it puts on artists who perform at levi. The attempt to end the agreement is said to be unlawful. Police have searching for a person who fired several shots into a building on a local campus. Police released these videos of a man from different angles seen around San Jose State University around the time of the shooting, you can see he was wearing a surgical mask, tan pants and a blue gray backpack. Police dont flow if he fired the shots but after talking with several witnesses and collecting Security Camera footage, they determined he was there around 6 30 thursday night. Witnesses described several shots fired around downtown san jose. I heard something that sounded like gunshots. But i wasnt sure. Police say a barrage of bullets damaged two buildings.
