Another round of wet weather and its been heaviest moving in to san jose. And the good thing about storm ranger is it can give us not only a hhllines but it can taken to street level. Were seeing the rain on highway 17, just to the east of campbell, and then also on 101, so were going to see some of that rain between 280, 101, all these areas, especially right now in santa clara, and it will be approaching downtown san jose, within the next few minutes. If youre going to be headed out, just make sure you have the umbrella, all of the rain deer and also nice, warm jacket because our temperatures for the most part stay in the 50s today. This is all a part of that same storm system that brought us the rain over the weekend. By the end of the week something new coming in. A new storm and new round of rain and so were going to get another really good soaker, as this system works its way across the bay area. Its going to take a while, so this will also bring in some high wind, as well as some high surf for the coastal areas, and then the showers look to gradually taper off on sunday. So then what else is behind that . Well storm system arriving on wednesday, and this is going to be a pretty big storm, the models are consistent in showing at least an inch of rain in some of the areas that are usually rain shadowed, and then as we look at whats going to possibly happen in the north bay as well as the santa cruz mountains, another three to four inches of rain and this could also be a good one for the sierra. Right now temperatures are just below freezing in squaw valley and we know from the past week in spots like squaw valley and kirkwood, they had over seven feet of snow. There is more feet of snow on the way going into the weekend. Were looking at another two feet of snow, which is good. As we try to catch up with where we should be for this time in december.
