Now, the governor says they struck a deal with motel 6 and with those rooms now, they have more than the 15,000 rooms to house the homeless during this pandemic. The priority for those rooms will be for the homeless who have tested positive for covid19, those who have been exposed to the virus, the elderly, and those with Chronic Health conditions. Now he says while Santa Clara County has been out front in helping secure those hotel beds, other jurisdictions are not. He called on those folks to step up. So far, he says, about 4,200 of those beds are in use already, and theyve struck a deal with chef jose andres, his world central kitchen to provide hot meals three times a day. But the governor says they wrote some language into the deal with motel 6 so that in the future, the possibility exists for them to try to turn some of these sites into more permanent housing. Its hard to tell if more people are wearing them this weekend compared to recent days, but as enforcement begins, that could all change. I think its safer for now. Loughlin and her Fashion Designer husband are among dozens of parents accused of paying bribes to get their children into top universities. But in terms of rain totals here, doesnt look like a lot. Looks like the best chances for finding those showers will be for areas around the south bay, Santa Cruz Mountains at some point. If you dont get a little bit of drizzle for the morning, you may see a few light showers heading through as we go into it looks like mid to late morning on monday. The extended forecast, as youre seeing there on the bottom of the screen, the sevenday forecast starting to warm up. Notice High Pressure now redirects storms away from california. Other than northwestern california seeing a chance of a few showers there towards the middle part of the week. The trend is actually end thering warmer progressively so each of the next few days.
