Well guys, this weekend in between rounds of golf at his private country club in new jersey, President Trump decided to take coronavirus Financial Aid into his own hands. Listen to this President Trump spent the weekend at his golf resort in new jersey he signed a series of executive orders billed as an end run ar just so were all clear, during a historic pandemic that has crippled the economy, the president of the United States signed four executive orders to help the unemployed from his private country club even Marie Antoinette was like, come on, man, read the room. I mean this is seriously, its not a great look when youre talking about mass unemployment and a waiter passes by, like, crab puff . [ light laughter ] next, trump plans to unveil a new stimulus bill from a a sauna in maralago. [ laughter ] im pretty sure this is the first time in history an executive order was signed with a tiny golf pencil [ laughter ]e executive orders started with, from the creators of the president s Coronavirus Response plan. Yeah, trump conducted a lot of president ial business from his private country club this weekend. He even held a press conference with some club members in attendance im sure they all wore masks and watched from a distance to ensure trumps safety. Can we see a photo [ laughter ] well, perfect. cause if theres any barrier the virus cant penetrate, its loosely arranged bamboo chairs [ laughter ] they all look like theyre modeling j. [ laughter ] meanwhile, these guys are like, this is crazy one minute im back taking a a leak behind the 15th hole, next im witnessing a president ial press conference well its not just the coronavirus taking up trumps time there are other issues hes dealing with of course, im talking about a a new report that said trump asked about adding his face to mt. Rushmore yeah, apparently trump said it was his dream to have his face added. Yeah, thats sort of like dr. Fauci saying its his dream to play center for the Los Angeles Lakers [ laughter ] turns out a fifth president cant be added to mt. Rushmore, because the rocks around it are unstable actually, the more i think about it, having something unstable means hes already a part of mt. Rushmore, yeah trump was like, if mt. Rushmore doesnt work, you can carve my face into one of the mountains at the beautiful Yosemite National park. [ laughter ] i think trumps wasting his time with mt. Rushmore if he wants something carved into rock that looks like him, the orange hue of the grand canyon is a much better option well get this, a jeweler says hes making the worlds most expensive face mask, encrusted with gold and diamonds, at the price of 1. 5 million. This is real yeah its perfect if you want both pro and antimask people to hate you [ laughter ] meanwhile, i feel like an idiot, because i just spent a Million Dollars on a face mask made of crystals, and now it looks cheap well, maybe the mask is a great idea though. Its a great way to tell everyone, im smart about health, but dumb about everything else. Lets get to some Entertainment News well guys, yesterday was the start of shark week on discovery channel. Whoo jimmy yeah i hate to be a downer, but sharks are way down the list of scary things right now for me. I mean, seriously, right now walking into a cvs is scarier than shark week. [ laughter ] im not kidding. At this point, its safer to swim around the atlantic dressed like a seal, than it is to go to applebees. The only thing scarier than a school of sharks is a school [ laughter ] nice jimmy ah, things are so crazy, sharks are now looking at the crowded beaches like, it is not safe out there. [ laughter ] well finally, i saw that 7eleven is introducing a new line of neverfrozen pastries, baked fresh in Stores Nationally yep. Now their goods are freshly baked, just like the kid working behind the counter [ laughter ] meanwhile, the taquitos on the rotating grill are like, oh, you think youre better than me . But my wife and i had about a week of extreme exhaustion and some body aches. And the way in the movie that the virus was became a contagion is very similar to what actually happened in covid19 jimmy so strange strange times. I know recently you got to revisit two of your other characters that you played two nights ago, malcolm in the middle zoom table read of the pilot. A little reunion and also last year you did el camino, the breaking bad movie. Yeah. Jimmy getting back into breaking bad, walter white, was it difficult to do or is it like riding a bike . It was it was kind of like riding a bike theres so many talismans. You just left your house to come back in the studio to do your shows and im sure when you sat behind your desk you went, oh, i know this. I know this environment. And you just kind of get back into it. And thats the same way with walter white i was able to fly from new york to albuquerque under the cover of darkness. It was really, really filled with espionage and i slipped in, put the bald cap on, and the whole thing. And the desert boots, and walter whites glasses and things all of a sudden im looking across the table, and theres jesse pinkman. And Vince Gilligan is directing it and im having, like, little flashbacks jimmy wow. This never really ended, and here we are. It was fantastic, though i enjoyed enjoyed the experience a lot jimmy did you did you get to keep your hat, by the way . Heisenberg hat you know what not only well, keep is a very loose term. Yeah im a big fat liar i totally took you down a road that as a matter of fact, i looked at the calendar i was doing a play in new york i finished a matinee on sunday about 5 00 p. M and they swept me out to teterboro, get on a private airplane to go a private jet to albuquerque two steps down off onto the tarmac in albuquerque and im in a dark car driven by dennis milligan, our driver captain. And he zips me out to an airbnb he pulls me in he says, you know you cant go anywhere but weve got everything weve got the whole refrigerator stocked and everything set ill come by at 6 00 tomorrow morning and pick you up. Sure enough, there he was. I get into the dark car. When we got to the base camp, instead of having walton jesse, or brian and aaron on the dressing rooms, it said bert and ernie. [ laughter ] jimmy it was bert and ernie. Wow. You really kept it secret. Did it work . And i had to wear a cloak like i was in the mandalorian. I had this cloak like Obiwan Kenobi and they couldnt see me it was very secretive. And at the owl restaurant in albuquerque where we were shooting, they put signs out, you know, that said, shooting mayonnaise commercial. You know, just everything and anything to divert the attention to it. So im sorry i had to lie to you. I really am. Jimmy but that was after you were on my show . I shot in albuquerque on monday and tuesday in january, and then i was on your show on wednesday. Jimmy holy and i was just when you asked me that question i went, oh no. Jimmy wow. I have to go, hey, look at that shiny object. [ light laughter ] jimmy and i probably looked at it, too well done. But could you set it up for anyone who doesnt know the story . Based on a true story about a couple that adopts a baby gorilla from africa whose family was slaughtered by poachers and this is a baby with a diaper and everything. They put it in a stroller. They went to the park and put it on swings so it drew a lot of attention. And in the house, it behaved itself as a gorilla might as a a baby but then it became what its supposed to become, a fullyfledged silverback gorilla in your house. So its destroying everything and it destroyed their marriage, actually and my character wanted to keep his son with him so he created this idea of having an indoor circus. So he leased a Shopping Mall that was defunct and for 27 years, there was ivan in this Shopping Mall, with people coming to take a a look at him, as kind of a quasizoo. And thats where we take the story off in a more fantastical place. The animals all talk to each other. Jimmy yeah, youve got great voices you got, sam rockwell is ivan. Angelina jolie, phillipa soo, danny devito, helen mirren yeah, they did all the easy work, that voiceover work where they can just show up in their pajamas. And jimmy yeah yeah come on.
