They said they have made a decision to shut down the school after four students and their family members have come down with respiratory illnesses. Meanwhile, all lake shore students and staff are being asked to selfquarantine. That means stay home and away from the public for two weeks while theyre getting tested. Thats all students and staff. You know, it doesnt make sense to partially close some schools and leave others open. We are supposed to be keeping social distance, you know, the six feet. But theres no monitoring of that. Today a district spokesperson said there are no known cases of coronavirus at any ousd school or district department.
