They tried to perform life saving activities on the scene but she was taken to the hospital where she ended up dying. In the east bay an investigation into another fatal crashes going on in alameda county. We have video of that aftermath. Multiple lanes of interstate 80 were shutdown. A vehicle crashed into some rocks at an overpass south of davis. This happened right after 1 oclock. One person was ejected from the vehicle. One person died and another was hospitalized. There has been rollout of testing. We are hours away from the opening of the latest site at this high school. Take a look. This is the inside of the building. We have physical barriers set up here and there is disinfectant. A lot of testing kits are lined up and ready to go. It looks like they will open here in just a little bit. Testing will be done in a separate ring wing of the high school. The wing has its own classrooms and parking. This will keep people at a safe distance. That test will be carried out. You must be symptomatic. You need an appointment. It will be free if you dont have insurance. This is part of an effort to open 80 sites through the state to provide testing to underserved communities. Many people have to make hard decisions to pay rent or buy food. Having these testing sites is a big step in addressing inequities. That is keeping people well that are at higher risk for exposure. There will be another site opening soon.
