The race for the white house is too close to call but with updated results from battleground states we are closer to a winner. Joe biden would need to win any two of the remaining states to reach 270 electorial votes. Georgia announced the new numbers. President trumps lead narrowed. Joe biden has an 80,000 lead in arizona but there is a delay in new numbers. Here is the reason why. Let us in . In maricopa county, arizona, protests outside a reporters office shut down ballot county. About 200 protesters waved trump flags as they chant let us in outside the office. They claim battles are not being counted properly but officials insist that is not true. Protesters were met by sheriffs deputies intactcal gear and the building was shut down as crowds remained outside. As the race gets narrower six states are yet to be called. President trump wants the states where he is ahead in the vote count to stop counting. Laura podesta has the latest from washington. I think he thinks he can show up at the Supreme Court and put a stack of something on the table and then they rule. Thats not at all how this works for so many reasons including federalism. States run elections. If you have a problem with an election, you go to state court. As counting continues, legal actions could at the very least draw out the process and delay the elections final outcome for weeks or months. North of here we have road work to contend with and its causing a back up along 101. Keep that in mind if you are headed out early. Once in San Francisco there are no troubles on city streets through that area. Chp is working on a trouble spot west 4. Its in the clearing stages, was out there for quite sometime. Its not having much of an impact to traffic. Into the Altamont Pass we are starting to see brake lights out of tracy as you are working your way towards north flynn. No delays connecting onto 680. I am anne makovec. We have new video of looting incidents that went on overnight in the east bay starting off in richmond. Apparently several vehicles pulled up to the store and okay pants broke in. It is a Sneaker Store. You can see some of the things that had about rifled through there. This is some of the loot police ended up getting back after they chased one of the suspects into San Francisco. So they were able to arrest at least that one person. We are waiting for more information from police on how many suspects might be outstanding but they left behind a real mess there inside the Sneaker Store in richmond and shattered the front window. Also an incident in san lorenzo. This was late last night. We heard from a nearby Business Owner who works near and saw somebody breaking in. Apparently multiple suspects broke into that area and you can see what was left behind there including a firearm and some ammunition. The witness said that the people who had broken in were seen coming out with firearms that they had apparently stolen, but police have not confirmed that information. A protest began in the afternoon by refuse fascism to oppose what they believe is president trumps attempt to steal the election. Video of a large demonstration in new york city overnight. Polls ahead of election day appears to have drastically missed the mark. Experts say the pandemic leading to record levels of mail in ballots and early voting could be part of the reason why polls were so off. Police responded to a burglary at a marijuana grow on 92nd avenue. When officers tried to detain those involved police say the suspects drove off hitting and injuring three police officers. An officer opened fire killing one of the suspects. Later on, on baldwin street, there was a second incident involving a marijuana business. Police say two security guards were shot during an attempted robbery. There is no word on their conditions.
