Police shut down the surrounding area of 10th and san fernando. That is where we find our reporter and he is live with more. Reporter you are looking down at san fernando street. An active seen right now as San Jose Police are here at grace baptist church. Earlier this Evening Police say at least two people were stabbed. Both are dead. Grace baptist is known to be a haven for Homeless People and they come here for services, food, temporary housing year round. San Jose Police Department put out a tweet saying, for clarification, no Church Services were being conducted at the time of the stabbing. On housed individuals were brought in to get them out of the cold. The implication is that Church Workers were bringing Homeless People in out of the cold and a stabbing resulted from that action. It is not clear who got stabbed. Whether it was other Homeless People or the church staff. What we are trying to understand is whether more people have been stabbed but were not listed among those who died. It is an active scene and chaotic. We understand there are two investigation scenes. One inside the church and one outside. San jose police say this is the 40th and 41st homicides of the year 2020. We learned Governor Newsom and his friends are in quarantine after being exposed to covid19. Tonight the governor tweeted out that he learned on friday night that three of his children had been exposed to a chp officer that tested positive for covid 19. He said he and his wife had no direct interaction with the officer. The entire family tested negative today but will be quarantining for 14 days. A live look at sfo. Terminals would normally be packed this weekend but the airport was almost a ghost town. Sfo said about 58,000 passengers left between thursday and saturday.
