But initially the amount of money that was allocated for this this issue was just really is why we are not only focusing on making sure we support and protect Public Health. But we also protect the health of our economy by providing resources and support to our employees to our businesses. I mean were going to have to basically you know step up and do it here and we are im trying to work with some of state officials and we hope the federal government can get it together to provide the real leadership and support that they need to but we cannot we dont have the luxury to wait for that. Tough times, especially for Small Businesses seen some restaurants say theyre closing temporarily some are just closing they cant afford to weather. 2 weeks 3 knows of really down business so a lot of people are staying home of course conventions in the city are being canceled so mayor breeze issues working on a 10 month delay for paying taxes and collecting fees. And labs across the United States, not to state of california. Get the benefit of all the ingredients that are components of that test. Kron fours dan thorn talks with Party Officials and riders about the concerns he joins us now live from San Franciscos Embarcadero Center with more on all of this stand. It is a transit service. Bart Officials Say they do not anticipate having to shut the service down or having to make any significant reductions to any of the routes but if that does happen they do have emergency plans in place reporting live in San Francisco. Dan thorn kron 4 news they queued and of course First Responders on the front lines of all of this at least 4 firefighters are now among new coronavirus cases in the south bay Firefighters Union local 2 30 made the confirmation today, the union also says 2 others are in isolation with symptoms awaiting their test results and at least 80 others were restricted from work after being exposed its not exactly clear where the firefighters were exposed. Well all of us fans know that the sports world certainly has been rocked by the effects of the coronavirus pretty much come to a screeching halt and safe to say pretty much all Major League Sports games are not happening right now kron fours kate rooney joins us now with the latest information on the sports have either been canceled or suspended put on hold but not much is really going on the only thing is nascar and theyre holding their upcoming races without fans it all started once the nba announced yesterday the remainder of the regular season would be suspended this after a player tested positive for covid 19. Many other dominoes began to fall perhaps the biggest of those is the nc double a which announced today that it would cancel both the mens and Womens Basketball tournaments for the first time in history all other winter and spring championships in other collegiate sports are to be canceled as well and a number of different sports are suspended among them Major League BaseballMajor League Soccer at the nhl all 3 have said theyre hoping to resume their seasons as soon as possible. Well have more on other sports that are making scheduling changes and the latest from the nba. Coming up later in the 10 oclock hour. Ken pam, its going to be a few. Crazy weeks maybe months here without the sports. Were so used to watching the weirdest thing is that were going to have no march madness so there not be any champion. So well skip that when we look in the record books on who won the National Championship just dont exist going to be strange and all right, thank you, thank you kate. All right, lets take a look outside and see how the weather is shaping up on this thursday night, a live view of the bay bridge and in park and errol and we do know some uh changes are coming our way were talking about rain were to cold temperatures the fog is rolling back and was just you know and im yes a little fog out there right now in parts of brain theres going to come back and certainly theres a chance we could see some snow in mountains here so i mean one of the drastic change are going to see fog over the city of San Francisco right now start to move on shore with a sales force building see slightly in this kind of a low deck out there tonight. And you see that along the coastline to some patchy dense fog along the immediate coastline but today not a bad day we did have that fog early on and kind of hugging the coastline throughout the day. And the storm clouds continue to roll through Southern California heavy rain some flash flooding certainly a problem there today as we have that rain coming down to the core that low finally begin to move on shore even some lightning strikes in Southern California but for the bay area tonight and you can see the fog moved in along the coastline now almost looking more like a summertime pattern but were getting back to winter big time in the next few days mostly clear skies inland tonight, patchy fog along the coastline inside the bay tomorrow, mostly sunny and a bit on the mild side down though to be cool by the coastline. And then a very cold storm is going to camp right along the coastline. That is going to bring some rain to the bay area on saturday showers to continue on sunday and well into next week numbers outside right now weve got some 40s and 50s in most of the bay area a little chilly in parts of the north bay starting sting know in the pacific here is weve got that area of low pressure bringing the rain all the way to Southern California that is finally going to kick eastward and then look to the north syria see this developing system doesnt look like much and a very cold system dropping in sanaa can have a ton of moisture in them, but what is going to be interesting is by tomorrow evening. Thats going to start to move into far Northern California but are part of friday stays dry but behind that the whole core this low just kind of camps along the coastline and is going to spin wave after wave of moisture on shore. So thats where its going to really interesting as we head to the weekend and into next week for tomorrow, although the low clouds and fog going to be there early in the morning and then by the afternoon should see some sunshine and then here comes that front. You see right around 10 oclock or so not that far away and then overnight on friday night into saturday that storm starts to move in and you can see them really all that moisture got to just spin right around that area of low pressure rolling back up in the bay area, some snow on the mountain tops and a whole lot of snow in the Sierra Nevada is going to be coming down effect in the mountains the a really prepare we havent had much us know the better part of the season made those places running 40 to 50 of normal. I think this weekend it is really back to some wintry weather see the snow levels dropping down to about 2500 feet and boy we could see as much as 4 to 6 feet of snow across some of the higher peaks and all the way down lake level probably a foot maybe a foot and a half of lake tahoe, so you headed up there this weekend this isnt like the
