But so far joe biden in the lead again by about 50 really an extraordinary development, is something that you thought youd never see in georgia but thats happening. And then in pennsylvania are also seeing that lead great yeah, so lets jump over to pennsylvania where we have again the major areas that are being counted still include philadelphia and pittsburgh. And thats Philadelphia County and allegheny county. Again about 50,000 votes are being processed in the 5th in the philadelphia area about 30,000 to 35,000 in the pittsburgh area and the vast majority of those votes coming in. Well theyve already been and are being counted now. But about 75 to 80 have been going to joe biden about 20 to 15 of going to donald trump and for that reason weve seen joe biden take over the lead position and continuing to add hes ahead now by about 9,004 and things are going actually quite smoothly. Considering that there has been an attempt least one attempt to disrupt things lets go to robin for the latest on that yeah, its sort of been the breaking news story overnight. Weve seen. Demonstrators outside a polling counting locations. But this is the first time robin that we actually heard of somebody looking to take some sort of violent action absolutely its very disturbing and this is what they have been fearing so daryn james this news comes as Election Officials around the country are still very worried about the safety of their staff and just the constant stream of threats and all the protests that are going on so heres what we know so far. Philadelphia Police Received a tip overnight about certain individuals who are armed or you know with firearms driving from virginia, heading to the Philadelphia Convention center. Well officers actually spotted the silver hammer truck thats in question police took 2 men into custody they seize 2 weapons as well as that hammer. No one was hurt. But keep in mind the protests in philadelphia continued last night from both biden and Trump Supporters and supporters of President Trump are protesting the Election Results. Well the Convention Center which was targeted in this particular plot. Thats where the election staffers are theyre counting the votes as of you know today, theyre still out there. Well pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes are crucial to the president s chances at winning this election. So once again that place was targeted or at least they think that those men were on their way to that location. And michael trump lights approve while couple years honestly and he does around the Confederate Flags and not a fight but then he hung and you can sign and say im sleepy joe. The problem with this is everything needs to stick for it to matter i mean with by u. S. To win one state with trump everything hes alleging has to come together. I mean i mean. Wolf we also saw when every single state which is not going to be doing i mean. Pennsylvania is looking. Well i think its and i think its i think its locked and i think the networks are just waiting until they get to about 15 or 20,000 vote leave in order to sort of push it to it put its decision desk make the call. Nevadas looking good i think arizona is not training anymore in his favor. George is a big surprise but thats going to go to a recount but you know the allegations that the president are making. Or just not going to hold water. This is not a bush league or situation. This is a situation where he is trying to allege it essentially a nationwide conspiracy and of voter fraud that simply does not exist in our constitutional democracy and in the way that our elections are conducted which is at the local level governed by the states and and and locally elected. Not some massive coordinated attempt by the democrats on faa. The martians whatever it is you want to think whatever it is hes accusing right now being out there trying to steal this election. Well in any was almost alleging that the that the ballots were messed up only when it came to the bubble for president because he said the republicans where they did well that was fine and then that was legitimate right. I mean this is just crazy. I mean the the everyone knew and certainly his advisers knew that the absentee count was going to take a while because one it was unprecedented because of covid and 2 because a lot of these states did not change their laws to allow absentee ballots to be counted early. Florida was a great example why did he say florida was great florida. He kept inciting was was it was great florida allows counting 20 days before the election. Absentee ballots by law, minnesota wisconsin. In pennsylvania could not count until election day. And so thats why were seeing this sort of blue shift as more and more of those votes are coming in you can see it shifting more towards by this way again anybody who was walking up to the election knew that that was going to happen or at least that was the trend that was going to be likely the only one who seems to be mystified by this is the president. Yes and therefore the only reason that could happen is is is fraught i mean im more worried about the next quite frankly, james and darya because now were entering i think a really interesting and very dangerous phase because he is a worded animal at this point hes going to strike out whatever he can and there have to be people who come in and do an intervention on on him. Its like they did with president nixon in 1974 when during the impeachment proceedings, liked al gore did when he decided even though he could have challenged captain challenging what was going on in florida decided. I look for the good of the country ive not going to prolong prolong the uncertainty in the end and the indecision. Whether or not donald trump will rise to that occasion i think is a very it is really up in the air. But it has to be done because our democracy. Our constitution is bigger than any one person, even the president of the United States. Well hes vowed to take weve heard it and save himself all the way to the Supreme Court where he is i assume hoping that the court will find obviously in his favor. Theyre already knocking it down in a couple of can get there and it and thats the point dari is that what is that this that hes talking about is can take the Supreme Court say. I dont like the results and i think there was fraud and you should throw it out that there must be a case or controversy. And so far all the cases and controversies has been alleging have been knocked out as you said are at the lower courts because theyre not alleging any facts you can take one instance of. So when his name may have been the same as someone elses name theyre claiming while they voted for me and say theyre for it applies to all 5 million voters in pennsylvania. We need a whole new it doesnt work in the tower. Theres no mechanism theres no claim its essentially theyre taking the all they have throwing the kitchen sink. Theyre essentially anti anti United States they want to basically live in some crazy world where where they and their guns just decide what what the law is this is not what our countrys about. But hes appealing to them and thats the concern that i see inland and now ive written about and spoken about over the past over the past month is that by doing that you can and we know i think we really need case. Set into motion things that can cause violence. Destabilization and the and the dea legitimization of our constitutional democracy.
