We had some of those clouds move overhead here and theyve been really erupting with some thunderstorms over the sierra nevada. You can see that almost all the way up in that whole area that will begin the the place again tomorrow. Well see some of that activity. So if you plan to have the high country watch out there, be expecting some thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon overall, though, you can see low clouds along the california coastline. Some of the patchy fog and a couple of batches of subtropical moisture also moving through low pressure is going to start to kick a little further inland by tomorrow. And as it does, were still going to see some wrap around moisture and that means more thunderstorms over the sierra nevada, especially in the southern tier. You get the bishop, the mammoth, youre likely to see some pretty good thunderstorms in the afternoon. The bay area county. Interesting. Were going to see that floor around the system and that likely bring some of those mid to highlevel subtropical clouds across the bay area. As we head in toward tomorrow and tomorrow evening to thank see here on the computer models right now, youve got the clouds and low clouds begin surge back on shore. The circulation around that low, bringing some of those mid to high level clouds in across the bay area. So you see more thunderstorms popping up over the sierra nevada. Some of those clouds continue to move on by and well see more of that. I think as we head toward tomorrow night and also into sunday as well. So weve got a long way to go before we get to that. But temperatures this weekend, 90s in the valleys. Big contrast. You see 30 degrees cooler along the coastline into the 60s. So much cooler there. But coming up, of course, weve got probably the best meteor shower of the year. It is going to peak this weekend. The big question is will wear clear enough to see you have on fog. You can already see that patchy fog along the coastline. Not going to be great viewing whether out toward the beaches even inside they it looks like that patchy fog going to be an issue on top of that. Watch what happens coming from the east. Weve got a little subtropical moisture rotating back into the bay area. Now those clouds likely not going to be very thick, but they are going truck some of your viewing, even parts of the east bay overnight on saturday night into sunday morning. So lets hope things clear out quickly as were going to see quite the sight, the meteor showers out there. If you get lucky, yeah, you might even see a fireball out there at the beach. Right now.
