And we started the actually overnight some showers working their magic a little bit here and leftovers. All that surface moisture from the rain. So their go after negotiate through a little the way, some ground fog that were starting to see. Some breaks happened already. But as we speak for right now, again, the fog pretty much taken hold of the east bay shoreline, as we can see and even covering up the shrubbery there as well. And well get some clearing going on this. We do have cloud cover a loft in which 2 contend heres what it looks like on the big view of the west coast. You can see that trough digging in here right here in the west coast. And as a result, todays going to quite a bit of cloud cover around. We could see a couple Little Spring of showers here and there are more important with daytime heating. Its perhaps some Thunder Showers, a possibility be very isolated, of course, in nature. Our numbers. 61 going for any also for concord love, upper 50s going on east bay shoreline and 50s control the north bay. Now for contrast were a couple degrees behind in a few Little Pockets here, but well probably do that into the afternoon, too, as we wont be as warm today. Certainly as we were from. Well, we will be tomorrow. Opening up the skies a little bit this afternoon, 11 about 61, 2 oclock calling it. 64 still have to keep in reserve the chance of a little isolated shower. More importantly, a thunder shower thrown in there, although very isolated after that looks like a warming trend of end of next week. Well have your entire forecast coming up in a bit. Stephanie. Interim appointment, it was just weeks ago that the governor confirmed if he had to appoint someone to fill out senator Dianne Feinsteins term, it would be someone on an interim basis, not one of those running for her seat in 2024 primaries just a matter of months away. I dont want to tip the balance of that. Congresswoman barbara lee slammed the governor saying the idea that a black woman should be appointed only as a caretaker to simply check a box is insulting to countless black women. Political analysts say those comments also reduce the list of caretaker appointees. Cant imagine any highprofile black woman, democrat in california except in the appointment because of this like was at the bar usf politics. Professor james taylor says appointing lee now would acknowledge the work black democrats did during the 2020 president ial election. Not doing so. He says, but not only alienate them but have greater implications going forward. Theres a sense being slighted here. And yes, the color is a shun in the mountains that is snow in the forecast rain and snow mixture, but at least a little flavor of winter already here being the first week or so of autumn. Well see a little bit of that going on for tomorrow. But from the perspective, the bay, we do start to dry out with this low moving away, clearing out those skies. Temperatures bump up a little bit, but its more of an oppressive movement in terms of temperatures as we see in the sevenday forecast. Summer looks like it wants to come back again towards the end of the week. We do funding clear out things in the mountains. By the time we get to monday. So today is considerable clouds, cool temps, mostly sunny and breezy for sunday. That will be the hall marks left over from the system because this low will generate some winds earlier in the week. Sunny and mild 70s for the bay 80s well inland. But that we get to the latter portion of the week and inland. Temperatures are looking to be in the lower 90s. Thats right. A warming back up again crank up the ac a little bit with a little flavor of summer. Back to those winds onshore. Typical with everything weve got going on. But tomorrow, boom, little pop there right there in Solano County, napa. This little pocket. We tennessee, those offshore winds here. Thats pretty impressive, too, in the speed. But not long lasting, as you can see, kind of dwindles away. But we have to watch that pocket and the east bay, too, as well. We do see some offshore pop star to happen all week long here. And theres a day to day things will change. But 65 San Francisco variable clouds mild. 69 for oakland, 68 for san jose. And even on the big board, its hard to find a 70 maybe getting up to concord. 71 74 for santa rosa nevado at 73. Next couple of days. We clear out tomorrow and 81, it looks like by monday just starting to warm up and many not because by the end of the week were talking again lower 90s as we get little flavor summer back. Well, that is just so interesting is it is you think its starting to cool down and then just warms that. Thats the forgotten child to fall. Spring gets all the glory. Yeah.
