The elementary in berkeley just south of hopkins street, according to Berkeley Police, the child was leaving the Elementary School yesterday when they were approached by an unknown suspect in a white van or possibly an suv. They rolled up next to the student, asked the child if they wanted to get in the car. The child said no. Then immediately ran home. As of this morning, that student is safe and was not harmed. But police are urging parents to be aware and to speak with their children. Take a look at your screen. Its a multi home unit there the boy ended up being shot in the leg. And investigators say what they think happened is adam johnson was shooting into a home next door. Tar game at home. But one of the bullets went into the home where the 4 yearold boy was. And ended up hitting the boy. Police believe that johnson targeted that residents because he was trying to recover a car that he had reported stolen. Hes charged with 2 counts attempted homicide. Now and the boy was treated for nonlifethreatening injuries.
