These negotiations have been ongoing since last october with a focus on Salary Benefits and the nurse to patient ratio, nurses say the county is not negotiating in good faith with the county says its currently facing a massive budget deficit but remains committed to providing a fair contract. Education secretary Miguel Cardona says the administration is moving ahead with a new plan. That plan would help a large number of borrowers not covered by smaller existing loan forgiveness programs.
