Both communities are grieving the loss of 32 people. The president s trip is controversial for some in both cities with some asking the president not to visit dayton or el paso. They are skeptical of his actions. Saying his words in the past about immigrants as invaders creates division and insites violence. The president spoke monday trying to console the nation following the shootings and the white house says he hopes to offer condolences again today. What he wants to do is go to the communities and grieve with them, pray with them, offer condolences. I think its too soon. Reporter the white house says his visit will be similar to those he paid to the grieving communities of parkland florida and las vegas, leading First Responders and spending time with mourning families and survivors. Despite the opposition to the visits, the mayors of el paso and dayton will meet with the president , the mayor of dayton is disappointed with the president s words she believes they appeared scripted on monday when he talked about the shootings. A california man suspected of murder on the run since 2015 has been arrested. 54 year old Peter Chadwick of New Port Beach was arrested over the weekend. Charged with killing his wife in 2012, for the last four years, detectives say he used fake ids to live in high end resorts and hotels and worked odd jobs to make money.
