There was a frightening holiday incident at a bay area shopping center. It happened at a target center at the fremont hub. Shots were fired outside of a store during a robbery. Reporter target corporate Officials Say violence outside of a store at the Fremont Hub Shopping Center started around 11 30 pm wednesday night. A man dropped his son a for work and then heard about the trouble. I saw that there was a shooting here. He says that they were trying to take game consoles. Reporter a Security Team member was trying to stop the shoplifter outside of the store. Shortly thereafter, a second person pulled up in a car and fired several shots into the air. I saw on the backside of the door, what was happening. We started running. Reporter the alleged shoplifter jumped into the car. We imminently called Law Enforcement and closed the store for the rest of the evening. Responding Police Spotted the car at glenview drive and that started a three mile pursuit. They stopped the car near Central Avenue and cedar boulevard. One suspect jumped out of the car and tried to run. That he was arrested. Along with four other people inside of the car and that includes one minor. All five suspects are facing multiple charges including robbery and resisting arrest.
