If you are trying to find a good point to watch the Fireworks Show tonight, Officials Say to avoid this area altogether. The Treasure Island authority is discouraging people from going to Treasure Island so we are asking folks not to go to Treasure Island to watch the Fireworks Show because there are not a lot of places to park or stand and watch and traffic getting in and out is a nightmare with one westbound and one eastbound ramp. Reporter the island is usually a populace but with striking views of the city but this year, construction, mounds of dirt and lack of parking might not be the best way to enter the new decade. The majority of that island that has the view of the actual fireworks display is completely fenced off with construction.
