We do not have to do rotating Power Outages yesterday and hopefully we will not have to do them today because people are conserving. Reporter the California Independent system operator directs pg e and other utilities to initiate rolling outages when demand for power cal i so blackouts are unrelated to pg e safety shutoffs. The utilities will cut power because of extreme fire weather. But if you still lose power, it could be a heat related issue with pg e equipment. Coastal areas are an area where we do see heat related outages because those areas are not used two triple digit temperatures. Reporter as for todays flex alert, conservation is key.
