Lai running for DPP chair with eye to 2024: DPP sources : vi

Taipei, Dec. 9 (CNA) Vice President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) has decided to run for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) chairman to secure his chances of being the party's presidential nominee in the 2024 election, but it may present some risks, according to DPP sources.
