The Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) services were suspended due to a landslide near Hillgrove station. Heavy rain triggered the landslide, causing mud and boulders to fall on the railway track between Kallar and Hillgrove stations. Passengers of cancelled trains received full refunds of ticket fares.
