(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)CDC, HO / TNS As the City of Laredo continues to successfully distribute the COVID-19 vaccine to its residents, the city's attention has turned to alternate forms of vaccine distribution, with the city striving to reach the critical point of herd immunity. According to Guillermo Heard, Laredo fire chief and emergency management coordinator, the city continues to develop different ways to get the vaccine to its people. Such strategies include attempting to offer vaccination clinics in different areas and different hours to reach those that might not be able to receive the vaccination at Laredo's major distribution point -- the Sames Auto Arena.
