Odds-on favourite Baylor Out tipped first over from third past the stands first time to swipe a narrow lead from Lisplaced past a 1:01.3 half, though he remained parked into the second circuit. Lisplaced reemerged on the lead to three-quarters in 1:30.2 and held firm to the finish, winning by a half length over late-charging stablemate Pure Addition with Baylor Out finishing third. Co-owned by Trevor Williams with Aurel Vodon, Lisplaced won his 34th race from 204 starts, earning $229,574. He paid $4.30 to win.
