Lee Ka-chiu: Hong Kong's northern metropolitan area will be divided into four major areas, and the action plan will be announced in the near future. The Northern Metropolis Plan will take "industry-driven, infrastructure first" as the main axis. Mr Lee said that the Northern Metropolitan Area will be guided by industrial development to promote economic and social development. He mentioned that the HKSAR Government has re-examined its plans to build a public columbarium in Shaling, Northern District.
