“Augusta is a subtle course,” Leigh explained. “You need to be able to draw the ball, fade it and, sometimes, hit it straight. And the preferred landing area on some holes is very small. “But deChambeau is a big, powerful man. He gets himself into position, pauses, then goes all out. “He’s got complete trust in his swing and just goes for it. I like that. “He’s really well balanced and hits straight through the ball,” Leigh said.
