Leon Springs is a bustling and unique place to live, located just at the northwest edge of San Antonio.
Residents and visitors alike love the community, which boasts the Leon Springs Historic District and several buildings that have had a unique architectural influence on San Antonio.
Leon Springs has a long and vibrant history. It was founded in 1852 by German immigrants a stopping-off point midway between Boerne and San Antonio. Soon, during the railroad and stagecoach eras of Texas, it became a thriving hub. It’s also known for its historical significance: The first officer training camp of World War I, Camp Bullis, was here.
