We’ve been drinking Coca-Cola in Orlando for a long time, judging from a photo of McElroy’s Pharmacy from at least a century ago, showing its distinctive logo at the soda fountain. But at McElroy’s in 1914, a Sentinel article said, a homegrown flavor, Peak’s Palmetto, was also wowing Orlandoans.
