LGUs urged: Go easy on suspending permits – The Manil

Local government units (LGUs) must exercise caution in suspending business permits or they could suffer a backlash, Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said on Thursday.
Roque called for caution after Valenzuela City froze the business permit of the company operating the North Luzon Expressway or NLEx following the traffic chaos caused by its cashless payment system.

Caloocan City has also asked the tollway operator to fix its radio-frequency identification (RFID) system.
