The funding came from Marcy Venture Partners (MVP), the venture capitalist firm co-founded by Shawn "JAY-Z" Carter, Jay Brown, and Larry Marcus, as well an investment from former Los Angeles Dodger Adrian Gonzalez. LIT Method was co-founded by Justin and Taylor Norris. LIT Method's fitness equipment is based on a water rower, Pilates, and resistance bands, and is tied into live daily digital workouts.
