Storm systems that will produce high winds, large hail and the possibility of tornadoes are expected to sweep across Mississippi Friday evening and through the overnight hours. Parts of central Mississippi are under an increased risk of seeing storms capable of producing winds with speeds up to 80 mph, which could leave tornado-like damage, according to the National Weather Service's Jackson office.
