Local hospitals pitch telehealth services to Floyd Schools :

Highlands ARH Community CEO Tim Hatfield and Community Development Director for the Big Sandy Region Danielle Harmon, left, and Pikeville Medical Center CEO Donovan Blackburn as well as Senior Vice President / COO of PMC's Physician Practice Melissa Thacker make their presentation s to the Floyd County Schools Board of Education. Both ARH and PMC pitched their respective telehealth programs to the board, which will review the presentations then decide which hospital’s telehealth services to use.

Over the course of the last year, telehealth has been transforming the way individuals receive medical attention and last week, two local hospitals presented on how this new advancement can help the Floyd County Schools District.
