Local leaders pay tribute to Prince Philip on behalf of Hull

The Queen's devoted husband passed away aged 99 on the morning of April 9 and since then people from our city have expressed their condolences.
He last visited Hull along with Her Majesty the Queen in March 2009 for the opening of the Hull Paragon Interchange.
Hull's council leader Stephen Brady said the Duke had strong ties to Hull Trinity House and often enjoyed attending the Hull Trinity House Christmas Luncheon, last attending in December 2008.
