Students didn’t need to flip through the worn pages of a textbook Wednesday to learn about the siege of their nation’s Capitol.
It was a violent historic event unfolding on their phone screens in real time as supporters of outgoing-President Donald J. Trump stormed the halls of Congress disrupting lawmakers’ attempt to certify election results confirming the victory of Trump’s opponent, President-elect Joe Biden.
