The pandemic has dramatically boosted demand for education technology, with edtech company Compass Education lifting international revenue by 65 per cent in the year to the end of January.
The Melbourne-based business started to expand operations in the United Kingdom just before the first UK lockdown last year.
“Australia is seen as a leader in the education space but what you get with the UK is a huge increase in the size of market.” John de la Motte, CEO of Compass Education.

Compass already had a foothold in the Irish education market and sent a small marketing team to London in February.
