Read Article 100 Years Ago: 1921 The Stick-to it Club will give a complimentary Bird evening in the Greene Town Hall on Monday evening. They have fortunately secured Rev. A. E. Wilson of Boston to give a Bird talk. Mr. Wilson stops on his way home from a lecture given in Belfast on a previous evening. There will be songs of a very attractive nature by the school children. The girls plan to serve ice cream to help defray the expenses but the entertainment will be free. 50 Years Ago: 1971 The Hungry Holly Hustlers Snowmobile Club of South Paris met Wednesday to complete plans for a supper to show appreciation to the landowners who allow trails to be maintained across their property. The property owners will be honored at a ham supper to be held at the South Paris Fire Station on April 24 at 6:30 p.m. A speaker will entertain the group before the club holds its business session and election of officers.
