Looking to trace your Native American roots? Oklahoma researchers can help

Veronica Redding has helped many of her fellow Native Americans find photos of ancestors at the Oklahoma History Center. Imagine her delight when she stumbled across an Osage Council photo that featured her third-great-grandfather, Olo-hah-walla.
Redding had seen a family copy of the photo while tracing her own roots. But not until she became a researcher at the Oklahoma Historical Society Research Center did she know it was part of the center’s collection.
