Scott Loveridge was named assistant dean for faculty affairs and development in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR). His appointment is effective June 1, 2021. A Michigan native, Loveridge earned a bachelor’s degree in biology; and his master’s and doctoral degrees in agricultural economics at Michigan State. After completing his undergraduate degree, Loveridge served as a Peace Corp Extension Agent in Zaire. Prior to joining MSU as a faculty member, Loveridge served on the faculty at the University of Minnesota. He was then named the first division director of a campus-based unit for Extension Service, and subsequently director of the Regional Research Institute at West Virginia University.
