(Dave Copeland/Patch) ANDOVER, MA — The Andover School Committee picked Magda Parvey as the district's next superintendent Monday. The Committee voted to enter negotiations with Parvey, the chief academic officer of Middletown Public Schools in Middletown, Connecticut. She was selected over Portsmouth, New Hampshire Superintendent Stephen Zadravec. The committee's meeting was supposed to be broadcast live on Andover TV Monday, but was plagued with technical difficulties and only a few minutes were available. The district posted the meeting video Tuesday morning.
