The Supreme Court has adjourned for a week the hearing on former Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik's plea against a Bombay High Court order that had refused to grant him bail on medical grounds in relation to a money-laundering case. The Nationalist Congress Party leader had applied for relief on both medical grounds and merit, claiming he had a chronic kidney disease and other health conditions.
