Artists and educators in northern Franklin County are coming together this season to help local teens learn more about visual and performance arts.  The Foothills ARTSociety in partnership with Adirondack for Kids and Downtown Artist Cellar recently announced a schedule of spring and summer classes for young people as part of the Thrive Project.
During the COVID-19 quarantine, public schools haven't been able to provide their students access to the visual arts, music and creative writing.  So, professional artists in Franklin County applied for grant money to fund a series of seven free workshops for teens in middle and high school.
