Man and woman charged with evidence tampering in Coshocton C

COSHOCTON Felony charges of tampering with evidence have been filed against two people in connection with a Saturday crash that seriously injured a Waynesburg couple.
Charged on Thursday were Melannis L. Stevens, 45, of Newcomerstown, and Jarome L. Starner, 39, of Coshocton, according to Coshocton County Sheriff James A. Crawford.
Shawn O'Neill, 57, and his wife, Robin, 58, remain in critical condition with multiple injuries in the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. They were injured in a crash that occurred around 4:30 p.m. Saturday on state Route 751. The couple had been heading home on their motorcycle after riding in central Ohio, according to their son James.
