Man arrested relating to indecent matter
Broome Detectives with the assistance of WA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET) investigators have charged a 66-year-old man as a result of investigations into his online activities.
It is alleged in May 2021, the man used a social media application to have conversations of a sexual nature with a person he believed was a 15-year-old girl.
Detectives executed a search of the man’s Cable Beach residence where they located and seized a number of mobile phones and electronic storage devices. It is alleged a number of images and videos of bestiality were located on the devices. Further analysis of the seized devices is being conducted.
