Hayden Damien Drakes, of Huntington, is sentenced to a 40-year prison sentence Jan. 26, 2018, by Cabell Circuit Judge Alfred E. Ferguson for murder in the beating death of Brett Powell. On Tuesday, he was sentenced to serve two years’ probation instead.
