Maxine Waters Opposes LAX Gate Expansion, Citing Noise, Poll

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Los Angeles, announced today that she sent a letter to the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners to oppose a proposed gate increase at LAX, saying the expansion would correspond to more planes, creating pollution, traffic and noise for her constituents.
